Beauty and the Geek
Oct. 9th, 2007 06:27 pmThere's a break in rehearsals this week, which means I might actually get to watch Beauty and the Geek at its scheduled time for once, instead of online two days later.
Interesting article here about BATG, mostly focusing on Nicole's unique situation. Lots of good points, especially about how uncomfortable it was watching Three Six Mafia ordering her to display her booty.
What surprises me is everyone's desire to kick out the female-geek-male-beauty couple. They've done well in the challenges, but overwhelmingly so, which makes me think people want to kick them out because they're different. Sure, Sam is a clueless prick, but how does Nicole deserve such hostility?
Looking forward to this week. My prediction is Will/Rebecca and Nicole/Sam in the elimination room. With Rebecca's romance with Sam, and Will's wince-inducing filibuster on why he eliminated someone, they've painted big targets on their backs.
EDIT: Oops, I was a little confused about the schedule. Looks like it is during rehearsal this week after all.
