OK, so I'm fiddling with my Kubuntu Linux installation, looking at the list of packages available to download, and I see a nifty little program called rolldice. It's a command-line program that takes a string like "3d6+10", does the appropriate pseudorandom number generation and calculation, and returns the result. I'm looking at all of its features on the man page, and I discover that it was created by none other than sstrickl. Awesome! Small world.
